Xcellon-Lava 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet Test Module is Ixia's next generation of Ultra High Speed Ethernet (HSE) products. They combine the advantages of Xcellon architecture and provide the highest 40GE and 100GE port densities. Xcellon-Lava is a 1-7-tier measurement and analysis test solution supported by Ixia's leading test applications, including IxNetwork and IxLoad.

There are two types of solutions:

  • Xcellon-Lava 40/100 GE Acceleration Performance Module for 1-7 Layer Testing

  • Xcellon-Lava 40/100 GE only data layer modules-an economical alternative to accelerated performance load modules. This module is very suitable for testing 1-3 layer functions that do not require routing protocol simulation.

Xcellon-Lava module is very suitable for testing high-density 40GE/100GE data center network equipment for large enterprises, service providers and telecom-grade networks. Xcellon-Lava Load Module and Ixia XG12™, XM chassis series are compatible with various Ethernet interfaces, and real 1-7 layer testing and measurement can be realized in one chassis.
